Francis Komla Nyoagbe
Executive Director
Francis has comprehensive experience across Investment Banking, Retail, Consultancy & Training and Mining. Prior to joining UMB-IHL, he was the Head of Corporate Finance & Research at National Trust Holding Company Limited (NTHC) where he provided leadership for the transformation of its Investment Management and Corporate Finance.
Francis joined NTHC from Strategic African Securities Limited where he was Manager, Corporate Finance and Investment Research. Prior to that he had worked in various roles including Consultant/Trainer and Assistant Accountant. He has over the years acquired rich experience in the areas of investment management, privatization, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and financial restructuring.
Eric Adjei-Yeboah
Head, Wealth Management/UMB Balanced Fund
Eric Adjei-Yeboah is an Investment Banker with over fifteen (15) years of professional experience. Eric started his career with Merban Investment Holdings Limited – the Investment Banking Unit of Merchant Bank Ghana Limited (now known as Universal Merchant Bank), which was a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bank. He moved on to Standard Securities Limited, a Fund Management firm as Head of Asset Management, and later became the Chief Executive Director.
Eric re-joined UMB Investment Holdings Limited in 2017 as Assistant Manager responsible for Investments, and is currently the Manager in charge of Wealth Management Portfolio. He also worked with Cocoa Processing Company as an Account Trainee at the Finished Products Stores at Tema Industrial Area.
Eric holds an MSc. In Finance from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), a Master of Arts in Ministry (MAM – Trinity Theological Seminary), a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the Methodist University College (Banking & Finance Option), a Ghana Securities Industry Certificate (Licensed as Fund Management Representative) and a Level 3 of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. Eric is also currently pursuing an LLB program.
Kofi B. Kyei
Manager/Pension and Institutional Funds
Kofi B. Kyei has over 14 years of experience in investment banking and fund management having performed various roles over the period. He played instrumental roles in the listing of SIC Insurance Ghana Ltd, GOIL Ghana Ltd, and the then HFC Bank Rights Issues both in 2009 and 2018.
Prior to becoming the Head of Pensions, Kofi was the Deputy Manager of Wealth Management after serving as the Acting Head of UMB Stockbrokers Ltd where the company won the Research House of the Year 2017.
Kofi has had extensive training in Banking Literacy, Capital Market and Securities Analysis, Financial Statement Analysis, Bank Marketing, as well as Private Banking and Wealth Management at the National Banking College.
He holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Ghana Legon. Kofi holds the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) Securities industry Certificate and is Licensed as Fund Management Representative.
Kofi managed stocks portfolios that grew it by up to 30% averagely year on year over a seven-year period.
The Head of Pensions & Institutional Funds authored articles such as “The Performance of the GSE vs T-Bills”, “Bitcoins, Altcoins, Ponzi Schemes”, “Investments on the Ghana Stock Exchange: Has the foreign Investor benefitted?”, “GOIL vs TOTAL: which has the happier shareholders?”, “The Search for Investment Options In Ghana: A Focus On The Ghana Stock Exchange Financial Stock Index”, and many more.
Kofi currently serves on the board of the Young Investors Network (YIN). The Young Investors Network, a financial literacy organization, recognized by the NPRA, SEC as well as the Ghana Stock Exchange in championing financial literacy amongst the youth of Ghana. The aim of YIN is to raise the next generation of investors.
Stephanie Boamah (Mrs.)
Manager, Gov’t Securities
Stephanie is a Chartered Banker with over 10 years of experience in Fund Management and Investment Banking. As a Client Service Executive of Universal Merchant Bank, she attended to clients’ general inquiries while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Throughout her time with UMB IHL, Stephanie has risen through the ranks of an Investment Officer with respect to Trustee and Custody Services and Fixed Income Securities, to Senior Officer, Fund Administration. Prior to her appointment as Manager – Government Securities, she was the Deputy Manager of Operations, leading her team on the weekly Government of Ghana T-bill auctions.
Stephanie holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Geography and Resource Development from the University of Ghana. She has ample training in Bank Marketing, Advance Microsoft Office-Excel and Essentials of Fixed Income Trading from the National Banking College and is an Associate Member and certified as a Chartered Banker from the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana.
