Our Services

Collective Investment Scheme Trustees

Acting as Trustees to several Unit Trusts, UMB as Trustee ensures that the Fund Managers of the Collective Investment Schemes are in compliance with the Trust Deed, their respective investment policies and all other relevant regulations as prescribed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Also, as Trustees to the Collective Investment Schemes, UMB ensures that the Fund Manager protects the interest of investors and maintain the safe custody of their assets.

Bond Trustees

We represent the interests of investors and bondholders during the lifetime of a bond transaction. As Bond Trustees, we are responsible for the registration, transfer, and payment of bonds. We also ensure the bond issuer adheres to the terms of the bond and act as intermediaries between the investors/bondholders and the bond issuer. We also ensure the efficient flow of information between the bond issuer and investors/bondholders.

Estate Planning

Our financial advisors will work with you to enable you provide for the those who matter to you; this could include your parents, children, grandchildren and other relatives and loved ones. We also offer guidance to assist you in planning the management and sharing of your assets. This includes collaborating with lawyers, accountants, property managers and other professionals to ensure your estate is effectively planned and managed according to your wishes.

Private Trusts

Our Private Trusts services enables individuals and families manage complex income generating and value appreciating assets. The establishment of a Private Trust allows your wealth to be managed privately and independently. It also enables the preservation and sharing of wealth across several generations. The management of a Private Trust can be quite complicated as it may involve detailed administration and coordination with professionals such as accountants, lawyers, property managers and other professionals. Corporate Trusts

UMB IHL has acted as Corporate Trustee for several capital market transactions over the decades. We offer advice to ensure efficiency, cost management and also ensure maintain the safe custody of assets. The appointment of a Corporate Trustee in a transaction creates neutrality in the management of assets, thus enhancing the confidence of investors and other stakeholders.
